Do you have a strong consultative selling background in technology services and are you a successful Account Executive? Have you sold for a professional services organization? Have you been successful at solution selling for a company? Do you understand the complexities of selling custom technical services? Do you have several big wins in your portfolio?

 

If so, you will understand what MySherpa is all about. Founded in 2001, MySherpa is one of the fastest growing and successful IT firms within the Delaware Valley. Our clients are small to medium size businesses in New Castle County, DE; Chester County, PA. Specifically we are an outsourced IT department for these companies. We are looking for an individual(s) who bring a high level of business ethics and personal integrity and want to succeed without compromises. MySherpa requires someone who has a high level of motivation to make your mark with an aggressive, industry-driven firm.   • Essential & Secondary Functions
  • To work diligently and with sustained discipline to produce long-term opportunities that can yield major relationships and revenue opportunities.
  • Maintain a high-level work ethic in finding, progressing and securing key deals.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and forecast on a daily and weekly basis to allow complete visibility of all key deals and opportunities, and to allow the executive team to apply themselves where the biggest and most strategic opportunities exist.

Knowledge Competencies (Mandatory)

  • Strong Sales track record for consistent over performance
  • Strong Solution selling/track record and references
  • Strong new business development track record
  • Ability to quickly understand which new technologies and solutions are driving the market opportunities
  • Clear, demonstrable understanding and track record in value based selling
  • Demonstrable skills with Microsoft desktop applications and the Internet
  • Your strong communication skills (both written & verbal) are apparent to all you interact with
  • Your persuasion/negotiation skills are among the best
  • Your business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit shows your desire to be the best

Knowledge Competencies (Preferred)

  • High technology experience
  • IT industry experience
  • Consulting experience
  • Skills/Abilities & Personal Qualities Competencies
  • Energetic, with strong sense of urgency, but a keen sense of team play
  • Highly disciplined in day-to-day sales activities and management reporting needs
  • Able to work largely unsupervised but demonstrate results
