MySherpa is hiring a leader who can efficiently solve client technology problems as a first responder. You will work with remote monitoring and administration tools to prevent or solve a wide variety of server, network and users’ problems including: event log errors, back ups, e-mail, spam filtering, desktop, spy ware, office, etc.
A suitable candidate will possess critical thinking skills, self reliance and expert client communication skills to deliver the highest quality of service. The ability to recognize a problem and determine the appropriate urgency and response is necessary. You will need to multi-task with multiple monitors, chat and email threads.
This position will also encompass managing monitoring tools, setting up alerts, creating workflows and templates based on new technology implementations and monitoring tool requirements to ensure that our team meets service commitments.
This position will be eligible for promotion in 3-6 months to Sherpa Services Manager and will coordinate and maintain 75-80% utilization of our technical resources. In this capacity you will manage and lead our service team monitoring, dispatch and field services.
This position is located at our Chadds Ford office with minimal day travel.

Dantz Retrospect and Veritas Backup Exec
Internet Protocol, DNS, DHCP, DOCSIS Cable, xDSL.
EDUCATION & TECHNICAL CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Bachelors degree preferred
MCSE 2003/2003 preferred, MCSA required
Other Education and Certifications are considered a plus.
