The Marvin S. Gilman Superstars in Business Awards, named for one of Delaware’s leading small business entrepreneurs, honor businesses and nonprofit corporations for their outstanding achievements and model approaches to business and management. They are presented to companies that have been in business for at least three years, have no more than 150 employees, and are members of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce. Awards of Excellence are also awarded to deserving companies.

“The competition and quality of the submissions continues to grow,” says event chairman Will Robinson of George & Lynch. “This year’s winning companies exemplify strong customer and community service, attention to the bottom line and excellent employee relations. They represent the best of Delaware’s small businesses.”

The awards ceremony will take place Nov. 9 at the Hotel du Pont’s Gold Ballroom. Sam Calagione, founder of Dogfish Head Craft Brewery and a 2004 Superstars in Business Award winner, will be the keynote speaker.
